Jean Pêcher, Ann Zagré & Bootsy Collins

I promised myself to go to at least to one music festival in Belgium this summer. As yesterday was sunny and Bruges is not so far from where I live, I chose to go to the famous Cactus Festival near the Minnepark (Park of Lovers). The line-up consisted of many groups of which I will for always remember Arsenal, Bootsy Collins (Long Live James Brown-tribute) and of course Yousou n'Dour. I wanted to dance, which is the only thing your body commands you to do when you stand in the first 20 rows with Bootsy Collins (www.bootsycollins.com) giving his energetic show. My friends Torben Karlskow and Krischtof ("do you wanna smell my shoulder") made me laugh and drink alot.

Add up to this a 85 km bike ride in the morning and you will understand how my legs feel today.

In the middle of the Arsenal gig, Jean Pêcher told me to tell me that his "poulain" Ann Zagré ended fifth on the athletics world championships final of the 100 m hurdles in a new personal best (her second in a row !!).

Three of our 6 children (Freddi, Nicolas & Siggy) are preparing their suitcases to fly to their uncles and aunts and grandparents in the States on Wednesday. The family Sigafoose (that is their names) are a family of chiropractors all maried with chiropractors. By the way, my wife Véronique is also a chiropractor (a damned good one if you ask me) and was once married to a Sigafoose son. They will all be taken extremely well care of. Siggy is looking forward to fishing a lot, this year armed with his MP3 on the head. Véronique asked a kids bathrobe and 1 Mobboa shirt to be packed too for aunt Selina.

Ouana, our Rumanian "maintenance assistant" will join us to the Brussels Airport and have her first flying experience. Her suitcase has been packed for already two weeks now.

The MOBBOA online shop counts 1 order per day now, so we are moving towards our targets. And the B2B contacts are intensifying. Felix from Litrax (www.litrax.com ), my principal who I represent for the Benelux and the "southern countries" is doing a great job getting his act firmly together. Bamboo is the fabric of the future !

Never forget : bamboo is good for you !
